Affiliate disclosure
The short version: some links on CandorStack are affiliate links. If you click one and buy or subscribe, the vendor pays this site a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never decides a verdict.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked link. When you use it to sign up for a tool, the vendor knows the referral came from this site and pays a percentage of what you spend. This is how CandorStack is funded, instead of ads or sponsored posts.
Where they appear
Any page that contains affiliate links carries a clear disclosure near the top, before the first such link. Affiliate links are also marked for search engines with the rel="sponsored" attribute.
The rules that keep it honest
- Verdicts are written before links are added. A higher commission never moves a tool up a ranking.
- Tools I haven't personally used are never presented as personally tested. See how I test.
- Negative findings stay in reviews of tools this site earns from.
- Prices and terms are verified against the vendor's live page and dated.
- Vendors don't get to preview, edit, or veto reviews. No review on this site is paid for.
FTC compliance
This disclosure follows the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements, which requires affiliate relationships to be disclosed clearly and conspicuously. If any page with an affiliate link is missing its disclosure, that's a bug: please report it.
